The Combat Net Radio Monitor allows to simultaneously monitor the operation of up to three radios and transmit on a selected radio if required. The radio operation is monitored using a built-in loudspeaker (connection of an external headset is not required).
The controls are intuitive three-position toggle switches on the front panel – the central position only allows visual indication of the radio activity (reception) using the respective indicator light with an adjustable indication time making it easier to clearly identify the active radio, while the MON position enables listening to these radios and the TX position enables transmission to the selected radio. By default, the Radio Monitor prevents simultaneous transmission to multiple radios, which is signalled to the user by a warning sound – it is only possible after pressing the emergency call button that has an absolute priority over all Radio Monitor modes. This as well as many other parameters can be easily set using a PC configuration application. The unit naturally features independent volume control of the built-in loudspeaker as well as a connected headset.
The Radio Monitor excels with its robust design, simple intuitive operation and easy installation. The controls are mechanically protected against accidental incorrect switching or damage. It is an efficient and affordable solution for vehicles/posts that are not equipped with an intercom system and are fitted with multiple radios. It effectively replaces the traditional solution for radio access based on individual loudspeakers and micro telephones making the operator work significantly easier and efficient.
